Hey James,
Just wanted to let you know the plixir elite bdc arrived earlier today, way earlier than expected! At first listen running cold/brand new it did sound a bit fatiguing, but that quickly went away with about a couple hours of burning it in (new components in general sound kinda fatiguing from my experience), and since then I've been floored. Out came the most punchy/slammy bass I’ve ever heard; the soundstage was enveloping, dimensioned, and deep; resolution and transient speed went up noticeably; the overall sound full bodied, balanced, extremely transparent. The background got noticeably blacker, which I could notice by extended decays and more harmonic color/details. Also absolutely no issue with the Andix, it’s been running for hours and no signs of slowing down/running out. The thing is also extremely solid and dense and built like a tank. I was kinda nervous spending $1000+ supply, but I can comfortably say the sound quality boost was worth $1000, as it transformed my $1k amplier to at least $2.5k+ performance levels haha. Thank you!
Cheers,
